Introduction Of His Eminence The 9th Khamtrul Rinpoche Jigme Pema Nyinjadh
Born 1981 in Darjeeling, India, Khamtrul Rinpoche is a Master's Degree graduate in Buddhist philosophy from Bhutan¡¯s Tango Monastic University and one of the spiritual sons of His Holiness the Gyalwang Drukpa, head of the 800-year old Drukpa Lineage. For almost 10 years, he has travelled the world - from Mexico, Bhutan, Vietnam, Malaysia and Europe - to share his knowledge and passion on spiritual matters.
Known for his fresh and vibrant viewpoints on traditional Buddhist teachings, Khamtrul Rinpoche will share in his belief that Buddhism is not a religion. Rather, Buddhism is a philosophy and a way of life.
In a complex world that is increasingly in search of answers, Khamtrul Rinpoche will illustrate how Buddhist ideals provide answers that are relevant to modern living and how Buddhist principles based on living a life of service to others is life-transforming and leads to happiness.
