His Holiness the Twelfth Gyalwang Drukpa
His Holiness, the spiritual head of the Drukpa Lineage, is an accomplished master in both the Nyingma and Sarma schools of Tibetan Buddhism, which include the Mahamudra and Dzogchen lineage. His Holiness is responsible for at least 300 monasteries, 5 nunneries, a few schools and clinics in Ladakh, Darjeeling and Nepal. He also serves as the spiritual guide for many centers throughout Europe, America and Asia.
His Holiness speaks fluent English. The impact of His Holiness's simple and direct teaching is profound and has inspired a great many people throughout the world in their spiritual pursuits. Those who have already the good fortune to meet him feel, above all, personally and deeply touched by his great wisdom and compassion.
